Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 23, 2026  ·  PrivacyShroud / NetShroud

Our commitment: We will never share, sell, or trade your personal information to any third party for any reason without your explicit permission, unless required to do so by law.

Personal Information We Gather

Payment Processing

Your personal information that is necessary to process your subscription payment is gathered by our third-party payment processor. NetShroud does not store your payment card details.

Registration

We gather your name and email address during the registration process in order to provide the service to you. Your email address is used to authenticate you when you use certain features, such as updating playbooks and managing your subscription.

Usage Metrics and Exception Events

As part of the service, we gather limited usage metrics and exception events so that we can improve PrivacyShroud and adapt to data broker defenses. We anonymize — removing your user ID — this information before we analyze it.

The information gathered is limited to the following:

[List of metric data elements — to be specified before launch]

[List of exception data elements — to be specified before launch]

Edition note: Under a Standard Edition subscription, you can opt out of providing usage metrics and exception events. For Community Edition subscriptions, providing this information is a requirement of the subscription agreement.

Personal Information That May Be Gathered By Others

PrivacyShroud works in conjunction with several third-party services. The following explains how your information may be handled by each.

Cloud-Hosted AI Language Models

Your AI Agent works under the LLM model of your choice. If that model is cloud-hosted — such as Claude or ChatGPT — the input is processed by that provider and is subject to their terms. Your AI Agent may send your personal information to the model provider when it analyzes things like filled web forms and confirmation emails.

Data Brokers

This may be stating the obvious, but your personal information has to go to data brokers in order to discover and remove that information from their databases. Some brokers require more information than others.

You have full control over how much information you want your PrivacyShroud agent to submit. It is also important to understand that PrivacyShroud only teaches your AI Agent the skills required to discover, remove, and monitor your personal information. The AI Agent is yours and, as with all AI-based technologies, it is your exclusive decision how much you trust your AI agent to follow your instructions. AI makes mistakes and could, for example, give your personal information to a data broker that does not already have it.

CAPTCHA Auto-Solving Services

If you choose to use a CAPTCHA solving tool in conjunction with your use of PrivacyShroud, that tool provider may receive full page content on sites you visit in order to solve CAPTCHA challenges. You should review the privacy policy and data handling practices of such services before deciding to give them access to your information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your local data — including your profile, run history, screenshots, and opt-out records — is stored on your own machine and is under your full control. NetShroud does not have access to this data and cannot delete it on your behalf.

Account data we hold (name, email, subscription status) can be deleted by contacting us at hello@netshroud.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
